The inspiration for this sequence is based around the allegory of the Union Jack, the mythological symbolism surrounding the Lion and Unicorn and their various artefacts, together with the traditional imagery of soldiers in children's illustration as captured by the representation of the House Guard Infantryman's design. As such the sequence brings together the nuances of symbols and characters inherent in children's literature with the contemporary fashion iconography of the British Flag and modern style.
