Vanessa Mooncie is a contemporary silkscreen artist and illustrator who also specialises in crochet jewellery design through her company, Kissy Suzuki, www.kissysuzuki.com. 

Vanessa's jewellery is handmade using new and vintage yarns, threads and semi precious stones. Her designs and creativity are inspired by the rich tradition of knit and crochet through the history of fashion, sourcing and researching traditional handcraft techniques.

Vanessa is also a part of Firle Artists, www.firleartists.co.uk, a group of professional artists, designers and makers that work within the location of the rural village of Firle in East Sussex, England.

   Firle Artists periodically exhibit collections of their work as seasonal exhibition cycles in recognition of the inspirational setting of their residencies and to reflect the diversity of their collective creativity.

Vanessa's biography includes a study of fashion and textile design, a self employed career as a children's wear designer and illustrator and commercial interior designer. She currently works in the rural village of Firle, near the South Downs Way.
