‘London Leap’ is inspired by the motorcycle stuntmen and particularly Evel Knievel and Eddie Kidd. The daredevil depicted comes from the likes of Steve McQueen in ‘The Great Escape’ against the backdrop of the changing architecture of the London skyline, over the old red routemaster double decker buses, with a glamorous mechanic cheering him on!
‘The Human Cannon Ball’ captures the essence of a journey into the unknown. The composition takes its theme from the traditional elements of daring, risk and comedy associated with the origins of the circus.
